When you arrive:
Jubilee Church welcomes you and your child to our nursery. Your child is special to us. It is our desire to minister to your child's spiritual, physical, and emotional needs. Our rooms are divided by age group and staffed by loving and caring workers. We are committed to providing the most warm, caring, and secure environment possible for your child. Please read the helpful guidelines in this brochure.
You will be greeted at the nursery where you and your child will receive a parent pager. If your child needs you during the service, a nursery caretaker will page you. Please keep your pager with you at all times in a safe, yet easy to locate place, as your child cannot be released to you unless you present it. The nursery opens 15 minutes prior to all worship times.
At your initial visit, a nursery caregiver will ask you to complete a registration card. This will allow us to get to know your child and help us provide the best care possible.
Pick-up procedures:
Children should be picked up within 15 minutes after the close of service. We ask that you present your pager upon return to the nursery so that we can verify a match of name and number.
Staff:
For the safety of our children, the nursery is restricted to authorized staff only. Children or youth other than nursery-aged children are not allowed in the nursery. Adults other than parents are not allowed in the nursery. All nursery staff must wear proper ID.
What to bring:
When packing a diaper bag for your child, please include the following items:
Snacks are provided:
We provide snacks during each service for children ages 1 & up. The food items consist of water and cheerios, goldfish crackers or graham crackers. Food brought from home for children other than infants is discouraged. If your child has an allergy, please inform the leader when you check in your child.
When your child is ill:
We operate a well-baby program. For the protection of all the children in our ministry we cannot accept a child with the following symptoms:
We request that you not place your child in the program while they are at risk of exposing other children. We cannot administer medication to your child. If your child requires medication during the service, it is your responsibility to administer it. Thank you in advance for helping us keep our children's ministry a healthy place for all.
